Biografía

Carlo Acutis (1991-2006) was an Italian Catholic teenager whose profound faith and technological genius made him a patron saint for the digital age. From childhood, he demonstrated exceptional programming ability and deep Eucharistic devotion, attending Mass daily and spending hours in prayer. He created a computerized database of Eucharistic miracles worldwide, documenting supernatural phenomena with meticulous detail. Carlo also designed websites for Catholic organizations and used his technical skills for apostolic purposes. Despite developing leukemia at age 15, he maintained serene acceptance and offered his suffering for the Church and souls. He died at 16, leaving behind a legacy of integrating faith with modern technology. Beatified in 2020, Carlo is venerated as a model for youth seeking holiness in the contemporary world and for the sanctification of digital media.
